France epitomises the
Artisan. Think of all those wonderful markets, with
colourful vendors gently flogging their wares. The smells,
the sounds, the colours and vibrancy leaves long memories
for the Tourist and Local alike.The Wine sellers, only too
keen to let you sample. The food vendors will always give
you a taste before you buy.Art aplenty- and Artisans
everywhere.
Having lived in the Aude for some years, I still enjoy
these occasions. I speak to many of them who indicate that
they would like to deal with Foreign countries, but either
are concerned about their lack of English or other foreign
language, or not too sure about how to go about Marketing
themselves.their products/services.
They have a gentle passion about what they make and/or
sell. This is why we have created this link between them
and the potential buyer,appreciator,collector or simply
Francophile to be able to contact them directly.
Our intention also is to organise small trade shows from
our Members, in the UK to begin with, so many Artisans
